My training journey began after struggling to locate a trainer that was reasonable and of good quality. I couldn’t find anyone who could teach me how to lead and gain control of my dogs, so it triggered my desire to learn and be that for others. Now along with my pack and 12 years of experience, 4 shelter and rescue collaborations, and over 500 dogs trained, rehabilitated, and saved from the needle and into good homes, it brings me joy to see owners and their dogs be better connected.

Our Training Philosphy
Here at SJR K9, we believe in fostering and bettering the relationship between humans and their dogs by teaching firm and clear leadership. We help dog owners create a better understanding in dog psychology an and communication skills, further strengthening the bond of dog and owner.
We also make it our mission to help save, rehabilitate, and keep as many dogs deemed unsafe, aggressive, or those seen as unadoptable from being put down and into their forever home.

DOG TRAINING TIPS
1.) There is no aggressive dog, just a dog with an unsettled mind.
2.) Every dog needs firm and clear leadership.
3.) A dog with a calm state of mind is a better dog.
4.) When walking it is important for your dog to check in with you for a smoother experience
5.) The act of laying down stimulates your dog's mind to relax and reset.
